Good afternoon, all.

The general weather pattern that was in place yesterday afternoon and
evening has not changed too much. The area of showers from this morning is
heading off to the northeast and some decrease in cloud cover should also
be seen.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible later this afternoon into the evening
for most of the MPX service area. Isolated severe storms with strong wind
gusts are possible east of a line from around Fairmont to Little Falls. The
area of concern for an isolated tornado is generally east of a line from
around Fairmont to the Twin Cities, including southeast and south central
Minnesota into west central Wisconsin.

Timing for development of storms is mainly after 3 pm.

Spotters may be needed

Thank you for Skywarn support.
