It is a 4 hour video course covering the basics of working with emergency communications within the ICS structures that your agency will be using.<br>Course Objectives<br>• Communicate information effectively to incident personnel<br>• Provide effective communications support during routine or non-emergency situations<br>• Provide effective communications support during emergency situations.<br>• Demonstrate familiarity with basic COMU (Communications Unit) functions capabilities<br>• Demonstrate proper application of communications policies and procedures<br>• Demonstrate proper use of communications equipment. <br>Prerequisites for the class: have taken the FEMA ICS-200 and ICS-800 classes.
