The Metro Skywarn 2016 Training Season has completed.

There are no more training classes for the Minneapolis/St. Paul 7-county metro area for 2016. Look for the 2017 calendar in early February. Sign up for the MSWInfo email mailing list to be notified when the class schedule is posted. You can also watch for the class schedule in the February 2017 Newsletter.

Other Training Opportunities

The National Weather Service Twin Cities/Chanhassen office offers Skywarn training courses for those outside the Twin Cities Metro area.

UCARS Online Spotter Training - This class is an experiment. It's not recognized for certification by Metro Skywarn or the National Weather Service Twin Cities/Chanhassen office.

Spotter Network Training - This will qualify you to report via Spotter Network. You must complete and pass the Spotter Network's own quiz to earn reporting rights on their network.
