On Wednesday, September 17th, at 6:30PM there will be a Metroskywarn practice net for those that wish to check in. The primary repeater 146.700 127.3 hz tone will be used from 6:30 PM local time unit 6:45PM at which time we will QSY to 147.210 100.0 hz tone until 7:00PM local time.
Check in with your Metroskywarn ID, wait for Net control to recognize you, then return with your ID again and your report – be sure to end your transmission with your call sign. Speak Clearly and distinctly- we are not in a race. You do not need to have an MSW ID to participate.
In the event of inclement weather, we will cancel the practice net and move into an informal or formal net.
Also a reminder that if you need a metroskywarn class refresher, those will start up again in 2026 and classes can be found here https://metroskywarn.org
